PolyPico Technologies wins top award from SCCUL Business Enterprises at their 2016 Business Expo and Awards ceremony hosted by NUI Galway in the Bailey Allen Hall, on Friday, 29 January.
The winners in the SCCUL Enterprise Awards were selected by a judging panel which included Gavin Duffy, RTE Dragon and serial entrepreneur; Barry Egan, Director, West Region Enterprise Ireland; Hannah Kiely, CEO, HC Financial Advisors Ltd; James Murphy, CEO, Life’s 2 Good, Sean Kinsella, former President, Thermo King and Dr. Emer Mulligan, School of Business & Economics, NUI Galway. The judging panel was chaired by Declan Dooley, Managing Director, Galway Independent.
Other prize winners included Beechlawn Organic Farm who were the winners of the SCCUL Enterprise Agriculture & Food Award, and Platinum and Diamond Nutrition who was the recipient of the SCCUL Enterprise Consumer Goods & Services Award.
The SCCUL Enterprise Social Enterprises Award was won by Sugru while eMedia Interactive was the recipient of the SCCUL Enterprise ICT Award. The SCCUL Enterprise Arts, Tourism & Sport Award was won by Beechmount Art Studio.
All category winners received a €1000 cash prize, a promotional package worth €1250 from media sponsor Galway Independent and a specially commissioned sculpture by Galway based sculptor Liam Butler.
