Lawrence Berkley National Lab use PolyPico Technology

The Yano / Yachandra group at Lawrence Berkley National Lab, primarily apply X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography techniques using X-rays at X-ray Free Electron Laser (XFEL) and synchrotron sources, and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy to investigate molecular and electronic structure of the catalytic Mn₄CaO₅ cluster and the mechanism of water oxidation.

The XFEL studies undertaken allow the tracking of catalytic reaction at room temperature in a time-resolved manner.
