About the role:
The Finance and Operations Manager will oversee the company’s financial activities, operational processes, and administrative functions. This role requires a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with strong accounting expertise and a proactive approach to managing a variety of tasks across finance, logistics, and HR.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management
- Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts.
- Manage project costings and budgets.
- Handle and process customer and supplier invoices.
- Process payroll and VAT returns.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
- Prepare tender documentation and quotations.
- Oversee the preparation of invoices and financial reports.
Operations and Logistics
- Negotiate rental agreements and insurance contracts.
- Handle logistics, including shipping terms and supplier coordination.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and maintain an efficient supply chain.
Human Resources
- Prepare employment contracts from templates and oversee HR functions.
- Manage employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Facilitate onboarding, payroll, and benefits management.
Administrative and Strategic Support
- Support the preparation of project tenders and proposals.
- Assist in strategic planning by providing insights on financial and operational performance.
- Develop and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency.
- Assisting in the review, from time-to-time, of NDA’s, Contracts and other documents.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Professional Accounting Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- At least two years experience in a similar role.
- Good attention to detail
- Hands-on, can-do attitude
